The success of any protein therapeutic or biologic hinges on a multitude of factors including efficacy, safety, and stability. Technologies that measure protein stability are used to assess the sensitivity of a biologic to factors that might cause aggregation and ultimately degradation. While separating active pharmaceutical ingredients from other particle types in biotherapeutic formulations is a valuable technique to elucidate the root causes of drug instability. However, existing methods have some drawbacks: they tend to be slow, unreliable, and require significant sample volumes.

In this webinar, Dikran Khachadourian will discuss how a new platform from Halo Labs applies innovative imaging and fluorescence microscopy techniques to characterize protein therapeutic products in stability studies. He will also highlight key applications of the platform such as performing developability assessments for potential biologics. Attendees will learn about the advantages of the Aura® PTx platform -- a low-volume, high-throughput imaging system that rapidly sizes, counts, and characterizes proteins and other types of molecules in mixed samples.
