Halo Labs Launches Larger Volume Membrane Plate for Process Developers and Manufacturers

BURLINGAME, CA – July 22, 2024 – Halo Labs, a leading developer of particle analysis instrumentation for biotherapeutics, announced the launch of large volume white membrane plates specifically designed for process developers and biotherapeutic manufacturers. These plates enable 10x more sample volume analysis.

Aura® systems utilize proprietary membrane plates for Background Membrane Imaging (BMI), Fluorescence Membrane Microscopy (FMM), and Side Illumination Membrane Imaging (SIMI) for industry-leading particle and drug product characterization requiring just 5 µL of sample perfect for volume-limited applications like early phase development and gene therapy. But with large volume membrane plates, late phase development users and drug manufacturers can now characterize therapeutics with at least 400 µL.

The initial offering of large volume membrane plates will be configured for white membranes with 0.8 µm pores to be used with Aura systems only.
